I finally was able to find some time to do an Art Walk this past weekend. Similar to one of the infamous bar crawls happening around town, minus the alcohol. This is a great way to spend a Saturday morning hanging out with friends. Walking around Chelsea, in and out of different Art galleries all very conveniently lined up right next to each other.

José is currently wrapping up on the last touches for his breathtaking mural which will measure 90 feet by 14 feet,  for One World Trade Center.  Looking very much forward to seeing it person once it’s unveiled to the public. Another fun interesting fact I found out recently, is that José Parlá along with  JR, another great artist worth knowing about, worked together on this amazing  Leda Antonia Machado mural on 24th street and 9th avenue. I’ve always loved it since the first time I came across from it. It’s part of their Wrinkles of the City collaboration ProjectJose Parla In Media Res
