Hey fellow summer lovers! Who’s excited in America for the long holiday weekend? I am! If you’re in town and looking for some authentic New York City fun in the sun and near the beach, then look no further. Luna Park ‘the heart of Coney Island’ has it all and it’s so close to home. A subway ride down to the southeast side of Brooklyn will get you closer to a diverse and lively atmosphere filled with carnival rides, the original Nathan’s Famous (hot dog) located on the corners of Surf and Stillwell Avenues, and the legendary Cyclone roller-coaster who turned 89 years this past Saturday. Do you dare to ride it?
The 4th of July weekend will bring the world-famous Nathan’s Famous Hotdog competition, fun at the beach, nighttime fireworks, and musical entertainment to Coney Island.
Up for a challenge? Luna Park is hosting a tee-shirt design contest in honor of their brand new souvenir shop. Click Here for all the information. All the designs must be submitted July 4th for a chance to have your design featured in their new retail shop! Good Luck 😊
Starting on weekends in July 2016, Luna Park will begin its Summer Series It will host pop up concerts, entertainment events and fun activities for everyone, young and old. The series is set to include some of the area’s most interesting and exciting bands, performers and artists.
